Wei, Miaojing
Bio
Miaojing(Mina) Wei is an PhD student in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Clark University. Before starting her PhD, she also worked with the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services. Her broad research interests include GIScience, spatial data science, urban environmental justice, and health disparities, with a focus on using spatial methods to study inequality in urban environments.
