BSOS Required Conflict of Interest Training
Please visit the relevant portion of the BSOS Research Administration website, where you will find (1) instructions on how to locate and complete the CITI course and (2) the links to both upload the CITI COI certificate and sign the UMD COI policy. Beginning January 1, 2022, the BSOS Research Administration Office will not route proposals to ORA unless and until all Investigators have completed these steps.

Kuali Research is the electronic research administration system used at the University of Maryland and replaced Coeus on September 26, 2017. Kuali Research supports researchers and administrators in proposal, award, and subaward management and is the University’s system of record for proposal, award, and subaward activity. Kuali Research is web-based and is accessed with your UMD Directory ID and password at kr.umd.edu.

The Office of Research Administration (ORA) is the designated pre-award and post-award administration office for the University of Maryland. ORA facilitates the submission of all sponsored project proposals on behalf of the University; negotiates and executes agreements; provides sponsored projects education and communication; and assists faculty, staff, and students in managing projects, which are awarded to the University. You should work with your DoGS Research Coordinator to communicate with ORA about grant and research activity including proposal submissions, rebudgets, sponsor approval, no-cost-extensions and non-disclosure agreements.
