Aohua Tian is a PhD student in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, advised by Dr. Yiqun Xie. His research interests include GeoAI, spatial machine learning, multimodal and foundation models for geospatial data, remote sensing, and geographic generalization. He received his M.S. in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan, where he specialized in geospatial data sciences.
