Seminar: "Dissertation Defense Procedures"

Join us at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25 for this seminar via zoom with Assistant Director of Academic Programs Rachel Haber.

The seminar will feature key information on spring/summer graduation 2026 procedures, particularly in light of the department’s decision to allow dissertation defenses during Summer 2026.

 It is important to note that this policy is a temporary measure and will be reviewed each Spring semester. 

Graduate students planning to graduate this spring (participate in commencement) or next summer are strongly encouraged to attend, along with their faculty advisors and the rest of the graduate students.
