Pumphrey, Kyle

Bio

Kyle Pumphrey is a combined BS/MS degree student in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also completed his BS in Geospatial Data Science at the University of Maryland in May 2026. He is currently advised by Dr. Laixiang Sun and works alongside the Human Dimensions of Global Change team. His main research interests are agriculture, water resources, climate change, global economics, and related topics. In December 2025, he presented his research poster titled 'Saltwater Intrusion Vulnerability Assessment of Aquifers in Maryland using the GALDIT Framework' at the AGU25 conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
