Yue Ma is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Xiaopeng Song in the Department of Geographical Science at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on using machine learning models in the field of remote sensing. She is interested in GeoAI, big data, remote sensing, land use and land cover change. She received an M.S. in Geographical Information Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a B.S. in Geographical Information Science from Wuhan University, and a B. Ec. in Finance from Wuhan University.
