GEOG Researchers Publish New Journal: Energy, Ecology and Environment

The Joint Center on Global Change and Earth System Science of the University of Maryland (UMD) and Beijing Normal University (BNU) are publishing a new journal entitled, Energy, Ecology and Environment (E3), with Springer.  E3 will provide a cross-disciplinary forum for investigating the shortage of natural resources, impacts on ecosystems and deterioration of the natural environment. This journal emphasizes integrated, discipline-spanning approaches to global natural resource challenges and covers energy economics, life cycle assessment, carbon capture, storage and sequestration and much more.

UMD researchers Drs. Klaus Hubacek (Associate Editor), Kuishuang Feng (Associate Editor), Laixiang Sun (Editorial Board Member), and Mengxue Li (Editorial Board Member) are founding members of this Journal.
