Department of Geographical Sciences Professor Ralph Dubayah recently spoke with NBC4 Washington's Storm Team4’s Amelia Draper about the fight to keep GEDI—an instrument providing important climate change insights that's set to be removed from the International Space Station in January 2023—in orbit. Dubayah was joined by Sen. Chris Van Hollen and experts from The Nature Conservancy and World Wildlife Fund.
