Associate Professor Kuishuang Feng Assumes Vice-Presidency of International Input-Output Association after served as an IIOA council member for two years.

Founded in 1988, the International Input-Output Association (IIOA) is a scientific non-profit membership organization. The IIOA has evolved into a thriving, influential, and globally recognized scientific non-profit organization with over 950 members across 59 countries. The association is committed to advancing knowledge in the field of input-output analysis, focusing on enhancements in basic data, theoretical insights, modeling, and the application of both traditional and novel input-output techniques.

Feng's research team has effectively utilized input-output analysis in their Geographical Science and Sustainability Research to investigate a diverse range of research topics. These areas of study include environmental inequality, environmental justice, ecological unequal exchange, low carbon development, climate mitigation, and Just Transition.

The team's impact on the academic community has been substantial, with over 150 journal articles and book chapters published to date. Notably, more than 30 of these publications have been featured in top-tier journals, such as Nature, Science, PNAS and Cell Press Journals.

Feng's new role as Vice-President underscores his dedication to advancing the field of input-output analysis and reinforces the global recognition of his team's research.
