Xiong, Sitian

Bio

Sitian Xiong is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland and a member of NASA Harvest. He received his Ph.D. in Geography from Clark University. His research focuses on agricultural remote sensing, cropland and field mapping, and crop yield estimation, with an emphasis on understanding agricultural change and improving food security monitoring.
