Workshop on Belonging and Inclusion in GEOG

Join us from 3:30 to 5 p.m. EDT, Monday, Aug. 25, for a workshop in River Road, Room 325, on Belonging and Inclusion in Geographical Sciences, led by Dr. Leslie Krafft, Director of TerrapinSTRONG Education.

This interactive session will explore why belonging and inclusion matter in academic and professional spaces, how to define and foster inclusive environments, and strategies for recognizing and addressing implicit bias. Participants will also examine the role of shared identity in building stronger departmental culture.
