UMD Science Policy Group: Think Tank Career Panel

Panel of UMD alumni will discuss pathways from science training to policy careers at major think tanks.

The Science Policy Group at UMD is hosting a career panel from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, Friday, for those interested in pursuing science policy work at think tanks. 

The event will feature:

• Dr. Jennifer Buss (UMD PhD BioChem '11), CEO of Potomac Institute for Policy Studies,
• Dr. Hailey Gibbs (UMD PhD Human Development '21), Associate Director, Early Childhood Policy at the Center for American Progress,
• Harry Huntley (UMD AGNR '20), Agriculture Policy Lead at the Environmental Policy Innovation Center
