Join Global Experts at the Quantitative Remote Sensing Summer School 2024

The International GEO-Innovation Center is organizing the Third International Quantitative Remote Sensing Summer School from July 10 to 17, in cooperation with the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering of Wuhan University, the Quantitative Remote Sensing Research Center of Wuhan University, and the Department of Geography at the University of Hong Kong.

The virtual summer school will feature talks by global experts in remote sensing. The talks* will focus on quantitative remote sensing theories and methods, recent advances in research and applications covering a range of topics including land cover mapping, agricultural monitoring, satellite laser altimetry, vegetation monitoring, hydrological remote sensing, and AI applications for remote sensing.

Time: 8:00 – 10:35 a.m. EDT (Some talks in the evenings)

  • Graduate students and early career researchers in geospatial sciences /remote sensing or with related research experience
