Geograpby Club: Interview with Professor Meredith Gore

The Geography Club brings a special guest to its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. in LeFrak 1150.

The Geography Club will host Professor Meredith Gore for a special discussion on environmental crime and the role of geography in investigating and understanding these issues. 

Gore will share stories from research on “nature crimes” such as wildlife trafficking, highlighting how GIS and other geographical methods are used to analyze and address these complex challenges. The conversation will also touch on how coupled human and natural systems shape the study of environmental issues and what inspired her work in this field.

The session will include time for questions, and all are welcome to attend.
