2026 High School Internship Program: Final Presentations
Join us to hear research presentations from this year’s GEOG High School Interns!
Twelve high school students from across the DMV region will showcase the college-level research projects they completed during the Department of Geographical Sciences’ High School Internship Program. From exploring environmental challenges to applying geospatial technologies to real-world questions, students will share their findings and experiences with the GEOG community.
The student research presentations will take place Friday, July 24, from 1:30–3 p.m. via Zoom. We invite students, educators, families, researchers and anyone interested in geospatial science to join us and learn more about the next generation of geographers and researchers.
