On November 5th, 2019 faculty and students from across the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences met for the annual Faculty-Student dinner hosted by the Dean's Student Advisory Council (DSAC). Students from the Department of Geographical Sciences enjoyed a three course meal while networking with faculty, including Geographical Sciences Chair Chris Justice and Center for GIS Director Kathleen Stewart. Conversation starters provided by DSAC stirred both thought provoking ("why did you choose to major in Geography?") and light-hearted conversation ("which kitchen appliance best describes you?"). The members of the Department of Geographical Sciences in attendance had a wonderful time and would like to thank our DSAC representative, Ariel Golightly, for her work to make this event a success.
