Dr. George Hurtt, GEOG Associate Chair and Science Team Leader of the NASA Carbon Monitoring System, was an invited speaker at the Spring 2023 Meeting of the Committee on Earth Science and Applications from Space on March 28 in Washington.

Part of the Space Science Week 2023, the meeting was organized by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Committee on Earth Sciences and Applications from Space. It brought together experts from NASA, the National Science Foundation, NOAA and more.
