My research interests are in the areas of Land-Use-Land Cover Change and its drivers at the local scale, with a special focus on land rights and protection systems, along with other socioeconomic and physical factors of LULCC and climate change. In parallel with my studies I also work as a land tenure and land administration specialist with 15 years of work experience combining project design, supervision and evaluation, dealing primarily with land rights and administration but also with other related issues such as weather and climate resilience and social and environmental risk management. I currently work as a Programme Officer at the International Land and Forest Tenure Facility.
