Brady Woods

Faculty Specialist & Doctoral Student

I am currently a doctoral student in the Center for Geospatial Information Science (CGIS) under the supervision of Dr. Kathleen Stewart. Additionally, I am a GIS Analyst/faculty specialist at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), a research-based center of excellence supported by the Department of Homeland Security. Currently, my research focuses on the development of geospatial vector networks to model potential smuggling pathways and modalities that could be used to smuggle chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) material into the United States.

I am interested in the geography of terrorism, the applications of GIScience to the study of terrorism, and conflict geography.
