Doctoral Candidate

My research interests are in the areas of Land-Use-Land Cover Change drivers at the local scale, with a special focus on land rights and protection systems and population drivers, along with other socioeconomic and physical factors of LULCC and climate change. In parallel with my studies I am also a land tenure and development professional with 7 years of experience combining the design, supervision and evaluation of government-led development projects as well as training activities in Latin American and Caribbean countries, dealing primarily with land rights and administration but also with other related issues such as weather and climate resilience and social and environmental risk management.
