Dr. Jyoteshwar Nagol, Ph.D. is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, Global Land Cover Facility. He is a remote sensing expert with extensive experience in developing algorithms for long-term monitoring and study of the Earth system dynamics. He received his PhD in 2010 from the same university with a focus on analysis of uncertainty for multi-sensor data harmonization. He has worked extensively with data from sensors like MODIS, AVHRR, and Landsat to analyze forest structure, BRDF, vegetation phenology, and fire dynamics.
