Jaemin Eun is a Faculty Specialist in the Department of Geographical Sciences who specializes in cryosphere and remote sensing research. His research focuses on conducting technical analysis and evaluation of satellite remote sensing data for polar processes and properties. Along with other members of the department, he works to design and develop experiments and case study applications for the ICESpark system. Jaemin's work as a Faculty Specialist includes using ICESat-2, Sentinel-1/-2/-3 and WorldView-3 imagery to generate novel data products and algorithms. Prior to joining the department, he received his M.S. at the University of Maryland where he used the VIIRS DNB Night-Time Imagery in land-use applications.
