Dr. Marcos Adami is an Associate Researcher at the Amazon Regional Center, Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (http://www.inpe.br/cra/) and Visiting Scientist at the Global Land Analysis and Discovery (GLAD) laboratory in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland (https://glad.umd.edu/). His research has been focused on Brazilian Amazon land cover and land use changes and their drivers and impacts. His research interests also involve sampling, agricultural statistics, remote sensing image time series, land cover and land use change mapping.
