Geographical Sciences Spring Commencement 2017

The Geographical Sciences & Anthropology Graduation Ceremony will take place on Saturday May 20th, 2017 at Noon in the Memorial Chapel. Doors will open at 11am. No tickets are needed. 

Graduates must report to the Chapel Garden Entrance by 11am. Consider taking our Senior Exit Survey prior to graduation day.

The College of Journalism will be live-streaming our ceremony! You can watch on the video to the right of the screen, or on their YouTube Channel

Parking will be free and open on Commencement day. Graduates and guests are encouraged to park in Mowatt Lane Garage, or Lots C1 or C2. Please see the campus map.

Immediately after the ceremony, there will be a reception for graduates and their guests in front of LeFrak Hall. Please RSVP here

University-Wide Spring Commencement 2017 

The University’s Commencement ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday May 21st in the XFINITY Center. Graduates are limited to 4 tickets, which must be claimed through your athletics ticket account. An e-mail with details was sent on May 5th. For more information contact, or call 301-405-4638.

*Please note: There will be bag checks at graduation this year, so we encourage all graduation attendees not to bring any bags unless absolutely necessary.  Thank you.

You must apply for graduation during the first two weeks of the semester in which you intend to graduate. To submit your graduation application utilize Testudo:

If students did not complete the online diploma application by end of the schedule adjustment period of the semester in which they plan to graduate, they can print and complete the Late Diploma Application and submit to the BSOS Advising Center in 2148 Tydings Hall.
